Horses Like Dale have Personalities

Horses Like Dale have Personalities

Parts of this article were originally posted in the Year 2013 as “Dale – A Powerful Yet Gentle Horse.”
This year, with a few edits here and there, it is a pleasure to spruce up the article’s sweater! Lauren Thank you so much for the interview!

Throughout history, horses have worked with men and women to accomplish tasks. Depending on the owner’s preferences, horses have been used from “beast of burden” to royal chariot carriers. Sadly, at times, they have been used as weapons of war. People have different views on how intelligent these animals are. Some say they are temperamental. Still, horses are fast learners when they have owners who are correctly teaching them and consistent in their methods. The way a horse is talked to and treated has a significant bearing on its ability to learn. A horse associates tone with commands. It is not only what the trainer says, but how he or she says it. So in another way of saying it, horses emotionally associate different commands in positive and negative ways.

Listen to Lauren, horse owner, share her equestrian experience with (Glebedale) Dale. Her experience with training and jumping horses gives helpful advice on the treatment of these creatures and how they are reciprocal animals.

What is Dale’s personality like?

Lauren says: Dale is quite a nervous horse when you work with him in the stable. He doesn’t like his face being touched and things like that, but he is the gentlest of horses, especially when you are riding him. He is such a gentleman and will do anything for you.

Question Lauren we have heard people use similar expressions, “the gentlest of horses” before when they are riding a horse. Give us more of how Dale’s temperament is when he is not in riding or competition mode.

Lauren says: He is so friendly as well and follows me around the stable or the yard and leans his head on me as if he is giving me cuddles. When I am upset, he always seems even more comforting as if he knows I am sad. He is just like a best friend as he seems to listen to everything I say.

Question Lauren What do you feed Dale and how much?

Lauren shares: Their ideal weight depends on the breed of the horse really, you can tell by looking at them if they are overweight or underweight. Horses are always out in the fields grazing but when we bring them in we give them a big feed, and in the winter they also get hay out in the field.

Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your equestrian experience with us. It shows why horses have been used throughout history to help men and women in farming and transportation. By listening to people like Lauren, we find out horses are not just instinctual but they have feelings that endears them to you.

Social Sharing Thursday Pick Joel Clemons

Hi Perceptive Readers, This is a Restore from last year. Do you remember Joel Clemons Instagram?

November 6, 2019
Social Media Sharing Thursday Pick

Dear Perceptive Readers, welcome to Social Media Sharing Pick Thursday.
We need to be frank high-schoolers.Did you just say, “I only need to be me, and who is Frank anyway?”
You know what, we are going to have you open for Sinbad, you keep that up.

Now where were the rest of us? Ah, being frank about social media.
This is going to be short and sweet.

Now where were the rest of us? Ah, being frank about social media.
This is going to be short and sweet.

Social Media has always been designed for sharing — so share.

When the articles and events have a hyperlink with a featured image; that is supposed to be shared as well. What company, musician, singers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and models do not want to see their brand shared? Let’s place impetus on for years since the beginning, this is what technology and Social Media Sharing has been all about sharing and still is with online chats from time to time! It is used for customer service as well! What a great use of technology!

Yes untold numbers use it as designed above.
If you like (appreciate) it, then share it.If the image appears with the link you share, then this all a part of the article title and link presentation.
If a company does not want you to share their images that automatically appears with the link, then on their websites they can turn such hot linking settings off. IMHO with a picture saying a thousand words, you will lose marketing value by doing that though.
Meanwhile, welcome to Social Media Sharing Thursday Pick. Place this in your notification calendars! This feature will run through November and December!

“One of the biggest problems in relationships that will create unhappiness is the feeling of entitlement and ownership. A healthy relationship is based on cooperation, commitment, trust, equality and fairness; it’s about choosing each other as partners and being in service to the other, not demanding service.”

Against The Current Memory Legends
Part 1 Chrissy Costanza: WORLDSSSSSSS BABYYYYYYYY

He stated with no hesitation, We knew she was something special.

What a way to open up this article! Do you agree Perceptive Readers?

Welcome to these moments in ‘Against the Current’s music and performances milestone.’

Yes, this is what the article is all about today. We will gain insight into the quotes above. Chrissy Costanza in her excitement proclaiming ‘WORLDSSSSSSS BABYYYYYYYY’

https://twitter.com/ChrissyCostanza/statuses/1309406833530994688

No need to interview anyone else was the feeling.
Alex Seaver of Mako ( Songwriter and Producer)
Sebastien Najand ( Composer and Producer) Sept 22, 2017
Song: Legends Never Die

When the above two men heard Chrissy Costanza’s voice, they are the ones who stated “When we heard Chrissy’s voice, we knew there was something special right away.”

For sure, the voice, and who Chrissy is has moved many to state it the way this writer did in the opening of this of article: We knew she was something special.

The song is now not only synonymous with Worlds 2017; it is additionally known as an Against the Current and lead singer Chrissy Costanza outstanding achievement!

The words and music that embodies the soul going against the odds all his or her life. Time after time, they have to pick themselves up. For your reading and listening pleasure here is the link to the #Worlds2017 Making Of Legends Never Die | Worlds 2017 – League of Legends

Now that you have experienced the thrill of that performance, let’s take a walk down memory lane from Chrissy’s Instagram.

Words From The Verified Chrissycostanza Instagram
WORLDS 2020!

“I started playing League back in season 2. I was awful but just wanted to be able to hang out with all my friends that played but I very quickly fell in love with the game. At that time, I wouldn’t have imagined that a few years later ATC would be asked to record and perform the Worlds anthem in Beijing at the Birds Nest, an Olympic Stadium (!!) opening up Worlds 2017. I got to perform @alanwalkermusic’s massive hit Faded with him during the closing ceremony that day as well. Fast forward some more and I’m performing at Coachella for the first time with Alan, for his remix of Legends Never Die. But after all that I never would have dreamed that I’d get a part 2. In 2019, I almost back flipped when Riot asked me back to perform Phoenix for the 2019 Worlds. It was such an amazing experience, I watched all of Worlds while stuffing my face with croissants in Paris and got to perform in front of a custom @louisvuitton trophy case. Afterwards, I was super honored when Bilibili asked me to come perform Phoenix in China for their New Years celebration. I’m absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to attend Worlds this year for the 10th anniversary (shoutout Covid), but this time of year will always be so special to me and bring up so many of the best memories. This is the highlight reel but I can’t take for granted all of the smaller moments in between that were so fun, like getting to tobaggan down the Great Wall of China, or just meeting one of my best friends @_jakemcpherson. Thank you forever @riotgames @leagueoflegends for letting me be a part of 2 Worlds. I love this family, this community, and I sure as hell love this game (heart).”

Chrissy Costanza

Do You Remember…

2014 Infinity
2015 Gravity
2016 In Our Bones
2018 Past Lives

For each of you, by listening and reading about the reviews for the above Discography, the information relates just how deep this young band thinks about their experiences. Along with the song titles you will certainly find the lyrics are spot on as to the meaning and intent the band is thought-provokingly giving you as an individual and the international audiences Here is just one paraphrase statement made by ATC lead singer about the song Wasteland.

“Wasteland” is actually an analogy for the music business but it sounds like it’s about a bad relationship. It’s written like you’re almost on a drug trip with changing faces, slurring phrases and there’s this line, ‘You tell me take this, but I don’t want to wake up in your wasteland.’ Its basically about how you’ll get fed so much bullshit, especially being an artist. You’ll get people who’ll say we’ll make you this, we’ll make you that but if you take all that, you’ll wake up one day and all that will be gone and your career will be destroyed. You have to stay grounded and you have to stay sober.”

A Thinker A Singer A Beauty A Rocker

It’s nostalgia at times to look back and listen to music from just a few years ago. Just think about it, there are plenty of high definition concerts of Against the Current online with singing, audience participation, and of course Chrissy creating a new style of dancing every other show. Yes, the previous statement is said with a smile and chuckle.

In one interview, Chrissy actually said she couldn’t dance–Even her own mother wonders what she is doing sometimes; because her mother can dance.

All I’m going to say is this… You can really see Chrissy has rhythm; her musical mind when in full effect is light years ahead of her dance steps. Just one writer lighthearted opinion.

This is why one archived Product of Culture pocbooks.com website article is spoken of as Chrissy being a thinker, beauty, and rocker.

For your reference or memory flashback, you will appreciate these selected performances.

A) Against The Current – Running With The Wild Things (Live in London @ Bush Hall)

B) Against The Current: Strangers Again [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

C)“Beauty And A Beat” – Justin Bieber (Alex Goot, Kurt Schneider, and Chrissy Costanza Cover)

D) “Water Under The Bridge” – Adele (Against The Current Cover)
There is Something Special with this Band

So is there something special? It is a goodly matter to express at this time Chrissy Costanza, the lead singer , is very much one with Dan Glow (vocals & guitar), and Will Ferri (drums); forming Against the Current. What you have witness going on soon to be seven years is when even a small group of people get along what they can accomplish.

Words have meaning
Music has meaning
Against the Current has and continues to make both work for them, and inquiring minds to their beat, style, and yes; specific dance steps with a smile.

Happy Painting Happy Writing Bonus Thoughts

Art and Writing oh what a feeling. Do you have a masterpiece in you?

In the Pocbooks update moment, we once talked about the Joy of Painting in Happy Painting Happy Writing! Today, on a Monday, I feel it is nice to not only restore this podcast back to its original place here on the website, in addition to recounting some of the happy thoughts from it. But guess what, there is a bonus with some people who shared their happy moments from the show.

The Joy of Painting

Someone who always seem to make things new and fresh!

Bob Ross, known as the Happy Painter; painted landscapes; mountain, streams, and the sky. This artist was certainly at the top of his craft; with such a pleasant quality of personality displayed in his skilled work. Here is what I mean:

You can quote me, “People who watched the show remembers the smooth sound and countenance of his voice.” You just ask them.

“He also possessed a beautiful way of teaching.” Yes, he made you feel like you could create a masterpiece.

Happy Writing

In the Happy Painting Happy Writing pocbooks update moment, I joined together the reasons why painting for some and writing for others makes us happy. Are you a person who sees the art in both and joy they causes people to feel? Listen to the podcast and you will appreciate the thoughts even more!

With writing, from non-fiction, to fiction, and science fiction; become absolutely enthralled at times! “That was a good book,” You say? “How in the world did you draw that,” You asked?

Whenever you are feeling a little stressed how about going back to your roots of what makes you happy?

Going back to the roots of what makes you happy like writing.

Whether you are writing or painting, by going back your roots of happiness in the unusual moments that work on sapping it away, you will be able to still state the following:

Hey, I’m cool

Hey, this is soothing

Hey I’m Going to be alright

As a Bonus for Happy Painting Happy Writing

Notice these persons of all different backgrounds and how they gained encouragement from Bob Ross, this Happy Painter.
Segment on Guesthouse

Imagine seeing the host of Guesthouse, Chrissy Costanza, and her guest Allie, getting into the spirit of Bob Ross’ Happy Painting. I have to hold in my laughter when I see what I’m calling the “Happy Bob Ross Dance” from Chrissy Costanza! No, I don’t think Mr. Ross ever danced like this, but I’m pretty sure “he would get a kick out of it.”

Traditional Games of the Past Fun in the Future

Traditional Games Do you want to enjoy the company of others but don’t know where to get started? Are you afraid of what some people call “awkward” moments due to silence?

This article was originally posted in November 12, 2012

How about getting together with a few friends to play board and card games. Since 2000 B.C. people have played the following games to make friends and have fun. No, not that far back, but as far back as the first half of the 1900s. To some age groups, the time period just mentioned might as well be 2000 B.C. (Dry Humor)

Monopoly

This board game gives a simplified experience with acquiring and spending money through real estate in a fun way. This board game can easily accommodate six to eight players in a race to the finish to see who can buy up and control board. It can turn into a game of endurance between the last 2 players. One game can take a whole afternoon to play depending on the size and skill of players. Dice are involved so anything can happen. STAY out of JAIL!

Spades

This card game is best played with a partner. 2 verses 2.

Rules ( This link portion still needs to be filled in)

Phase 10

2 to 10 players. If you can finish playing this game in the time frame of an hour with 4 or more players, let me know. Seriously, the more players, the longer the game seems to go. Oh, what if there is a practical joker in the group? The hands on the clock will be signaling for all to call it a night. Just think, you talked and laughed over the course of 2 hours that flew by quicker than a movie.

The rules and score sheet can be found here.  Rules ( This link portion still needs to be filled in)

There is a nice little cut out card to tell what phase you have to complete before moving to the next round.

The next time you want to have a few friends over just reference some of the ideas mentioned in this article. These are a few of the traditional games that have been around for a long time. What is the reason for the longevity? These games are fun!
