Chrissy Costanza, since the group’s beginnings, is proud to say “I am the voice of the band Against the Current.”

Chrissy honestly feels she figuratively lives and breathes music. So as she takes in the air along with the rhythms of the universe, like a growing plant’s photosynthesis process, she exhales musical creations. Like as oxygen gives and maintains life for others, when you listen to Chrissy’s die-hard fans comment on her music, you quickly ascertain they also feel her songs have saved them in a similar way that air is life-giving to us.

She at times in a no-nonsense way will “cut to the chase.” If you get the opportunity to read at least one of her journal writings or a candid interview from the past year, you may appreciate that even though she states, ‘sometimes my mind gets cluttered by all of my thoughts and little interests;’ Chrissy is very much a thinking and reasoning person. Just don’t come with some inconsiderate, purposely making assumptions to cause trouble or be mean, nonsense (chuckle).

Against The Current (often abbreviated as ATC) is an American pop rock band based in Poughkeepsie, New York, and formed in 2011. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow, and drummer Will Ferri. – Against the Current Wikipedia
Chrissy Costanza has an exceptional voice quality that can sing hard rock and some of the softest ballads meant for ballroom dancing, if you will, in my opinion. A)Sometimes it is because he or she is indifferent.
B) Sometimes they will not due to fear of being ostracized.
C) Sometimes they won’t because he or she feels it is not their place.
D) Other times, they are the very ones who agree with such treatment of another human or maybe poor animal or chump (70 s background culture).
Just providing you with facts and experience for those times when you get a gut feeling on social interactions that stick with you. As the targeted perceived chump (Though this description of you could be in error), you may find points
A , B, and C not only understandable in today’s world but also capable of forgiving & healing in a quicker amount of time as you do your best with your beliefs. Chrissy: I think for this record, I really wanted to do a lot of self-reflecting. A lot of the record is the introspective look on all of these situations, whereas in the past I would’ve written ‘Strangers Again’ about, “This is what you did to me, you messed up, you screwed up, you did this, you’re a bad person and I hate you blah blah blah”, that sort of thing, like in ‘Talk’ or ‘Fireproof’. On this record, it’s more of my inner perspective of it and how I reacted to it and how I feel about it, how I feel that maybe I could even be at fault for certain things, even if it’s someone else doing something to me. I think that’s just part of growing up and taking on responsibility, not just for your actions, but for allowing other people to act a certain way to you, towards you, or around you.

A Breakup of – (Friendships, Mates, Professional Partners, Family)
Have you ever heard someone in hindsight of a breakup say, ” If I just would have been more sensitive to _ needs we would still be together”?
You see it is vital to know that not all relationships end because the two involved desired it to end. Make no mistake about it, William Shakespeare’s terminology of star-crossed lovers provide insight as to why a percentage of relationships (Friends, Mates, Professional Partners) end. Mainly due to outside influences and interferences from people; some well-meaning and some who are definitely not, who have weight behind them to help or harm a covenant or promise between the couple (Friendships, Mates, Professional Partners).
Hypothetical story: Over the past year, there was a man who made it a point to listen to what certain persons were saying about a professional partner of his. Let’s be clear, this man and professional, does not give heed to gossip(slander) and sees no need to participate in it on strangers let alone when it comes to someone who is very special in his circle.

All the same, there were a few well-meaning ladies (some men as well, but the focus is on the ladies for this hypothetical story) who wanted to make sure the man knew the other side of his professional partner from their view. This took the course of several months, and sometimes these intelligent women wondered, “Did he understand what I just told him and showed him?”
The man (the professional) did grasp what they told him about his professional partner, he just stored it away in his mind of considerations. The man (the professional) most likely would want to thank all the sincere ladies (professionals)! You are marvelous darlings.
Here is something to consider. Over the years, the man had already discovered the very ( scaring of a beautiful mind) situations they had related to him. All the same, as the years went on, he realized his partner at this time couldn’t fulfill their role in the most serious(necessary) of ways. However, his mind was made up never to cause additional pain to his professional partner purposely. Somedays it was a struggle but still here are the very factors he considered:
Are there extenuating circumstances? Most definitely there are!
If his professional partner was truly placed in an environment where he|she could heal would they fully bloom in beauty in all its aspects? You better believe it!
Though I have to break it off how can I let this person know I will always give him|her a cup of water or food to eat if they would just ask in the reasonable and exactly prescribedmethod I set forth that would show just a little growth (healing) even at this time.
You see. In a nutshell, when it comes to a breakup, it is you who have to live with this decision for the rest of this age or life. Man or woman, this person was once the sun or moon in your life and projects, they still deserve kindness overall, even though they may be getting on your very last nerve at times. (Smile)
Kindness is not a weakness. Perceptive Readers have gathered that even the ultimate powerful mind of The Grand Creator himself shows this to be true by doing good for people who don’t even like or acknowledge him. The prophet Jesus exhibited that same benevolent spirit to such a degree that some people were puzzled by it and didn’t appreciate such a vision.
Well how much more so for someone who was and still may be unique to you. When the Breakup is what you feel is the only option, then still hope the best for the person to receive whatever it is he|she needs even though it is no longer with you. Then move on. Yes, Move On.
