“An ounce of prevention” still “is better than a pound of cure.” Why is this the case? Because that pound of cure often comes with loss time and productivity. There have been times when you struggled with a problem in the late afternoon; and then, after a good night’s sleep, the answer comes to you first thing in the morning like a miracle!
The longer humans put off much-needed sleep a deficit will build that requires payment. In the meantime, the deficit will take payment from the other sources. That trance like feeling humans experience when we have to pay attention to or act upon an important matter and the alertness has been taken away from us as a cost for our lack of sleep.
Here could be a great reason people love the weekends so much. They catch up on siesta [nap/sleep]. It would sure be nice to break the cycle don’t you think? Either way, there are 24 hours in a day, take away at least 8 hours, this leaves you with 16 hours to accomplish a lot with careful and priority planning.
